Ternura emerged from a brief but charged moment in Mexico City, where filmmaker Rachel McDonald, Mexican choreographer Paulina Pulido, and a committed local team of artists came together to make something from the heart. Created in response to a world marked by violence and division, the film channels tenderness as a form of resistance. Through movement, Ternura offers an emotional meditation on vulnerability, shared humanity, and the possibility of love in fractured times.
